The V1FQ Clear Nails are the first full quartz nails ever made from Highly Educated. Unlike traditional quartz nails, the Highly Educated V1FQ nails dishes are machined from a quartz slab and not made from tubing. The dish is machined from GE clear fused quartz which has a nominal purity of 99.995% SiO2. Precise machining of this semiconductor grade quartz allows the V1FQ Nails to be reverse compatible with tools like our Carb Cap V2, UniTi Cap, or ParTi Cap. The dish is fire polished after machining to remove the white blanchart finish and return the dish to looking crystal clear. Released shortly after the debut of the V1 Hybrid Nail series, the V1FQ features the same dish design that is used with the Hybrid Nail series; welded to American quartz ground joints. The air intake hole has a diameter of 9mm and it provides absolutely no more drag or additional restriction to the piece to which it is attached.
